Jessica Gray

PRINCIPAL + OWNER

  • Oversight of consulting division of the firm, servicing lenders, construction managers, and owners representatives; Business development

  • Risk Manager for large DC General Contractors (James G. Davis; Clark)
  • Insurance Broker — extensive experience servicing large national construction accounts; including OCIPs, CCIPs and Builders Risk programs

Eileen Hartzell

PRINCIPAL + OWNER

  • Extensive experience as an underwriter with The Hartford
  • Insurance Broker — built and serviced a book of business exclusively comprised of commercial real estate accounts throughout the United States, including developers, owners, operators and investors

Melanie Thomas

DIRECTOR OF LEARNING + OPERATIONS

  • Devises our organizational learning strategy, designs and delivers the program, oversees its implementation and assesses its outcomes. Identifies learning and developmental needs for new and existing employees and drives suitable initiatives that align with and support company strategies
  • Credentials — BS in Elementary Education (East Carolina University)
  • Extensive experience with a major national carrier as an underwriter of all commercial lines for middle market-sized businesses across the country in various industries including real estate, special trade contractors, private education, business services, architects/engineers, manufacturing, metalworkers, technology & life sciences businesses
  • Senior Learning Consultant — involved in the design, development, and facilitation of new hire onboarding and continuous learning for all middle market underwriters

Monika K. Przybylska, CISR

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

  • Manages the insurance procurement process for client portfolios and collaborates with Parallel’s risk management team to actively manage client exposures
  • Credentials — BA, Marketing and Management (Warsaw University, Poland); BA, Insurance (Howard University); Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) Designation; Currently studying for Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) Designation
  • Insurance and Risk Manager for large national brokerage and third-party claims administrator.  Held supporting roles assisting the legal team and handling complex claims from reporting to closure

Brittany Herritt

  • Former Risk Manager for the Commercial Truck division at Enterprise Holdings of Baltimore.  Evaluated customer insurance policies to mitigate exposures and enacted best practices to reduce losses for the division as a whole.  Trained employees on industry compliance standards and audited rental locations to ensure company policies were followed.  Analyzed loss reports to highlight deficiencies and implement improvements to lower overall costs for the business.  Currently studying law in the evenings with a focus on real estate and compliance.
