Eileen Hartzell

Matthew Fischer

GENERAL COUNSEL + DIRECTOR OF CLAIMS & RISK MANAGEMENT

  • Oversight, management and client advocacy of all insurable claims. Works with the firm’s brokerage & consulting teams to understand client risks/exposures and is involved in creation and implementation of various risk management procedures and all facets of contractual risk transfer, including review, markup, negotiations and compliance.
  • Credentials – BA, Political Science & Economics, Philosophy minor (Loyola University Maryland); JD, WTO Dispute Resolution Certificate (Georgetown University Law Center); LLM, National Security Law (Georgetown University Law Center); pursuing MBA (Loyola University Maryland)
  • Represented the Fortune 500 clients of an AMLaw 100 law firm in all facets of domestic and international trademark, copyright and related advertising matters.  Advised large global and domestic clients on internet, technology and social media law and policy. Former Managing Attorney for District of Columbia real estate litigation practice. Currently serves on the Advisory Board of an Edutech startup, advising on issues of intellectual property law and technology.

Melanie Thomas

  • Former Risk Manager for the Commercial Truck division at Enterprise Holdings of Baltimore.  Evaluated customer insurance policies to mitigate exposures and enacted best practices to reduce losses for the division as a whole.  Trained employees on industry compliance standards and audited rental locations to ensure company policies were followed.  Analyzed loss reports to highlight deficiencies and implement improvements to lower overall costs for the business.  Currently studying law in the evenings with a focus on real estate and compliance.

Errica Cinelli

  • 10 years of experience providing human and social services within clinical, educational and community based settings; Licensed OT practitioner which includes evaluating a patient’s condition/ diagnosis and developing a treatment plan to reach specific goals, train on equipment, therapeutic exercise and providing accommodations or adaptations as needed; well versed in managing various electronic medical records and databases for providing accurate and confidential documentation to record progress and maintain compliance.
